We are a family!

We knew we would be from the moment we saw Cesar and Rosa's referral pictures. Then we knew we were when the final adoption went through but now we know for sure, because Cesar drew it (without any cues)!
Again, Blogger is not behaving, sorry for the sideways picture but I don't know what else to do about it. Enjoy anyway, we've got a talented boy.

Ice cream!

This past weekend, we thought it would be fun to make ice-cream. We all enjoyed it but Rosa kept asking for "mar, mar" (a combination of languages to say more)!

Do I look guilty?

More of the Artist

Here are a few more of Cesar's drawing. He is good and so advanced for his age, it's incredible. We're proud!

Fall festival

In Florida, we don't necessarily notice that Fall is here. The only clue is that the temperatures drop by a degree or so and that Cesar's school is organizing their Fall Festival. Check out Cesar's tee-shirt, he made it himself.

The Firefighter and the little Cat

I know, I know, I am very late in posting the Halloween pictures but I had to sort through more than 300 pictures. The choices were difficult, so I will just post a lot of pictures here now and you can decide which one is your favorite. A little background: every time you ask Cesar what he wants to do when he grows up, he answers "Firefighter!". And since Rosa is our cat's best friend and tries to persecute him all day long, she had to be a kitty cat. First we went to pick up Cesar at his daycare, followed by a trip to the zoo next door to finally finish the evening in our neighborhood. Enjoy!

The Artist!

Well, well, well... what can I say. Apparently Cesar is very talented and very advanced for his age in how he draws. Every one likes his pictures so much that all the teachers have voted to pick this one, frame it and put it up on display in the College President's office! See for yourself...

Oh and sorry it's sideways. I have no idea why Blogger does this, since it's not that way on my computer drive. Sorry...
